After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel for a half day city tour in Buenos Aires.

This panoramic tour will take you through the highlights of South America's most European and cosmopolitan city. We'll drive along 9 de Julio Avenue where the renowned Colón Theater and the Obelisk, symbols of our city, are located. We'll visit Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by important historic buildings like the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the City Hall. We'll also visit Plaza San Martin, Alvear and Plaza del Congreso. The tour will drive us along the old fashion Avenida de Mayo and the dynamic Avenida Corrientes. Explore neighborhoods filled with colors and history, like La Boca and San Telmo, and the sumptuous neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta and the modern Puerto Madero, a busy gastronomic and entertainment area. 

In the evening visit to an unforgettable tango show with dinner. (Group tour without a guide)

In the evening enjoy an amazing Tango Show and Dinner. Tango is still alive. A good way of penetrating its spirit is visiting one of the restaurants that offers tango shows of an excellent level, to enjoy tango´s sensual magnetism taken to the stage by some of the best dancers, singers and musicians in Buenos Aires! After a delicious dinner, you will follow a spectacular presentation of acclaimed popular and sensuous Tango, performed by the world's best. It is the music of Buenos Aires par excellence. Tango is felt in the air of the city, as humidity!

At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate. Arrival and reception. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city, visit the Glaciarium, a museum dedicated to glaciology or participate in an activity to get to know the steppe while you enjoy lunch or dinner. on your own.

Depart from the hotel toward the Perito Moreno Glacier, located in the Glacier National Park 80 km. from the city of Calafate. From the beginning the tour offers pleasant surprises. Upon leaving the city, along the right side of the road, you can see Lake Argentino with Redonda Bay, which offers an interesting variety of bird life. During the first 50 kms, the direction follows across the Patagonian steppe. At the entrance to the National Park there is a drastic change in the vegetation which is rich in the special types of trees found in the Patagonian Andes: especially ñires, lengas and cherry trees, among others. The glacier is an impressive river of ice with a surface of 257 square Kms.,a length of 30 kms. and a width of four kms. The height of the front wall ranges between 50 and 60 meters above the level of the lake. In the central part of the glacier, the ice has a depth of between 250 and 350 meters. This frozen river descends from the continental ice field and causes in its slow progress landslides and explosions that make the glacier a wonder in constant motion. It is a show that impresses not only by its visual beauty, but also by the constant roar you hear from inside it, which has caused it to be declared a World Heritage Site.

During the tour a walk along the paths on the front of the glacier allow a view of this impressive natural marvel from a different perspective. At the end of the tour, begin the return to Calafate to arrive at the hotel.

Depart from the hotel to Puerto Bandera pier. Start the tour on board the Puerto Privado La Soledad. Sailing on a northwesterly direction, pass by Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo- the narrowest parts of the lake (800 mt.). After a two-hour navigation, you see a succession of ice floes announcing that the Upsala Glacier is not far. You then enter the Upsala channel and pause in front of the barrier of ice floes, which temporarily prevents the entry to the channel. If weather conditions permit it, you can admire the Upsala Glacier in the distance. You continue heading south and take the Spegazzini channel to get to the glacier with frontal walls of between 80 and 130 meters above the lake level. Lunch is served as you enjoy this wonderful landscape

Toward the late afternoon you cruise to Puesto de las Vacas – a bay within the Spegazzini Channel, where you can take an interesting walk for a different panoramic view of the Spegazzini Glacier. You return by the northern arm to the port, and head back to the Hotel. Accommodation.

Free morning to enjoy El Calafate. At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Buenos Aires for connecting flight to Iguazú. (Flights not included). Arrival, reception, and transfer to the choice of hotel in Iguazú.

 In the morning, we visit the Iguazú National Park, Argentinian part of the falls, declared Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. During the tour, we go through the three circuits of the Park: Garganta del Diablo (to reach the balcony and viewpoint of the most imposing falls of the Park), The Upper Trail (which provides a view of the falls from above) and The Lower Trail (which offers a closer contact with the vegetation and the falls). During the tour, free time to have lunch (not included)

Great Adventure tour 

Great Adventure combines in a single trip the very essence of Iguazu National Park: the jungle and the waterfalls.

Departing from the Operative Center or from the Visitors’ Center, we shall enter the jungle by the Yacaratiá trail in trucks specially designed for this environment. Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) will introduce the place’s natural and cultural resources.

This 5 kms long stretch ends at Puerto Macuco. At its dock, visitors shall board on the boats that shall be sailing in the Lower Iguazu River for as long as 6 kms, heading towards the waterfalls area, enjoying plentiful rapids. Upon reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, visitors shall be able to see the falls of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Afterwards, the most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martín waterfall, the second in dimension and the hugest any boat may face. After that we’ll navigate 6km down river until Puerto Macuco from where, after walking up hill 150 mts we’ll ride the trucks 6Km back to our Operative Center. Duration 2:15 Hs.

We leave Puerto Iguazú to get to Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil and visit the waterfalls on the Brazilian side. Once inside the the National Park, as we walk along the only catwalk within the Brazilian Park that leads us to the viewpoint of Garganta del Diablo, we appreciate a view of almost all the waterfalls.
